Description: Join us for a powerful and enlightening event dedicated to breaking down the barriers of stigma that often surround mental health, addiction, and other crucial social issues. This event aims to foster a deeper understanding, empathy, and dialogue about the challenges faced by individuals and communities affected by stigma.

 

Program Description: CARE (Community Awareness Reduction, & Education) is an educational series designed to raise awareness about substance use disorder and their effects on the community. These workshops cover a range of topics, including an overview of various substances, substance use, and prevention strategies, emphasizing the importance of proactive intervention. Additionally the series explores harm reduction strategies tailored to substance use disorders, offering practical approaches to minimizes associated risks.

CARE also includes a dedicated monthly session on safe binding and tucking practices, providing guidance on proper techniques, use of tape, and self-care to ensure safety and well-being.
