This session explores the barriers to care, including systemic discrimination, and provides resources for navigating healthcare systems. We’ll also highlight ongoing advocacy efforts for trans-inclusive healthcare reform. |
Program Description: This group is dedicated to empowering TGI individuals to navigate the political system, aligning with the center’s commitment to education and advocacy. By equipping TGI individuals with the tools to advocate for their rights and needs, we actively advance the center’s broader advocacy goals. Our programming, events, and initiatives at PVP are designed to be intentionally inclusive and representative of the TGI community, highlighting their voices, experiences, and issues. Through this supportive network, we not only address the unique emotional needs of TGI individuals but also foster a space for genuine connection and empowerment.
