Topic/Theme: We Both Laughed In Pleasure by Lou Sullivan
Program Description: Join us for a book club discussion of We Both Laughed in Pleasure, the select diaries of Lou Sullivan, one of the first openly gay trans men. Together we’ll explore Sullivan’s life as a pioneering AIDS activist and a key figure in expanding possibilities for trans and queer identities. The book has been described as an inspiring, hilarious, poignant, and sensual reading experience.
